Amazon Informatica LTDA, with deep responsibility and commitment to the future, presents its environmental manifesto, reaffirming the vision of a more sustainable planet, in which technology acts as a fundamental pillar for ecological transformation. Our expertise in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is intrinsically aligned with global efforts and, above all, with the ambitious targets of decarbonization and climate resilience established by Brazil in its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).
01 The Amazon: Lungs of the world and the future of life
The Amazon, more than a vast forest, is the pulsing heart of the planet, an ecosystem of unparalleled biodiversity and a global climate regulator. Its immensity and complexity make it an irreplaceable natural heritage, whose health directly impacts the ecological balance and life on a planetary scale.
Historically, the Amazon has been a symbol of abundance and resilience, but also of vulnerability to the challenges of climate change. Sadly, in 2023 and 2024, Latin America witnessed climate tragedies, such as droughts in the Amazon and floods in Rio Grande do Sul, showing the urgency of climate action.
02 Latin America's commitment: NDCs and the journey of ecological transformation
Latin America has set ambitious goals in its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC), seeking to reduce its net greenhouse gas emissions by 59% to 67% by 2035, aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050 and promoting climate justice.
The “Climate Justice Vision” for 2035 seeks to include all citizens in a new paradigm of economic prosperity, reconciling development with the protection of biodiversity. In other words, the nation aims for a harmonious synergy between people, economy, and nature, through the regeneration of forests, agriculture, industry, cities, and communities.
To achieve these objectives, the Latin American government established the Pact for Ecological Transformation, an unprecedented initiative between the Three Powers, focused on ecological sustainability, sustainable economic development, social, environmental, and climate justice, and resilience to extreme climate events.

We eliminate plastic cups and promote the use of reusable items, such as mugs and bottles.
Eco-Friendly Gifts
We distribute eco-friendly promotional materials, such as bamboo pens and recycled items, aligning image and responsibility.
Clean Energy
Solar energy production at our headquarters is equivalent to preserving 11 trees, reinforcing our commitment to clean and renewable energies.
Water Reuse
We implemented intelligent systems that reused 360,000 liters of water, reducing water consumption in operations.
Sustainable Supply Chain
We adopt a supplier selection policy with socio-environmental criteria, prioritizing those with sustainable practices.
Sports and Social Inclusion
Through support for the Cardim Project and the Educando Através do Esporte Institute, we promote soccer classes and values in 4 social centers.
Youth Training
The Young Apprentice Program in Belém trains teenagers in situations of vulnerability, with the support of the Movimento República de Emaús.

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ML) are indispensable for refining the monitoring of deforestation and forest degradation. Systems based on AI can process large volumes of satellite data, identify patterns, and predict risks, allowing proactive and more efficient actions in the fight against environmental crimes. In addition, AI can optimize natural resource management and assess climate risks with precision.
Document Management and Identity for Governance
For territorial planning and land regularisation, GED and ECM technologies are essential. They guarantee the digitization, organization, and interoperability of complex databases. Furthermore, Digital Identity (ID Tech) and Biometria solutions are fundamental to ensure the authenticity and traceability of information and transactions, combating fraud and guaranteeing the legal security of land ownership.
Cybersecurity for Critical Green Infrastructures
The energy transition and infrastructure modernization require robustness against digital threats. Our expertise in Cybersecurity guarantees the protection of smart grids, renewable energy monitoring systems, and climate data platforms, ensuring the integrity and availability of these essential operations for a low-carbon future.
